To spread the word “phonvert” and motivate people to find new ways to repurpose retired smartphones.
Every 2 year we buy new smartphones and leave the old one in our closets. IDC estimated that more than 280 million working smartphones were replaced without being recycled last year.
Your smartphones has tons of sensors that can be used for IoT applications. It's a waste not use them.
